: Anyone ever try Mar Pro epoxy? Sold by Donovan Marine to the marine
: trades.
: Bought some to try but NE Marine and industrial did not have any
: product data. They have no website or help line .
: Just tried a test batch with slow hardener. 62 deg. for 24
: hrs.....still soft. Raised temp to 72 deg.for 12 hrs and it is
: still tacky and soft......wtf
: Yes, it is mixed properly.....
: Any ideas?
: Can epoxy take this long to cure and still be good?
Much epoxy used by the trades is heat cured, cures at elevated temperatures in an oven. Won't even set up at room temperature. The reason they use it is it sets up fast at elevated temperatures, some within an hour.
