Mike,
I did not post the query to start yet another moral debate on hull flopping. However, if this method/technique is doable then the resultant hull would not be an exact copy. Sure, some of the original geometry would transfer to the new boat e.g rocker, but the new boat would be marginally longer, beamier and have more volume, depending on the thickness of strip used.

Moral implications aside, any pros/cons?
