Thanks for on topic replies.

Simeon, your thoughts pretty much mirrored my own regarding the process.

Regarding some concern over the flopping issue, I actually have no intention of going ahead with this particular building method. The enquiry was purely out of interest. The lines of my Epic V10 are very straight forward and I had a light bulb moment, hence my post. Nothing more sinister than a quest for knowledge.
