I used 8 oz tape because it was all I could get at the time--obviously not a good decision. I've never removed glass using heat but nice to know it's possible and I may go that route. Any tips for doing that with a heat gun? I'm guessing I'd have to grab it with pliers or some such and pull as its heated.

I believe I did let the shop cool down too much before that final application. I'm using MAS resin with slow hardener and probably didn't have it warm enough.
