I used the Freud Diablo for cutting strips, as well. But in browsing through the toystore the other day (HD), I noticed a smaller, even thinner kerf blade (perhaps 4" dia.), made for a small, battery powered circular saw, but would fit on a table saw. You'd have to have it raised 'full' to cut, but.... for cutting strips, I'm wondering why it wouldn't work even better. Less resistance, more strips, less sawdust.

Anyone try this?
