Well there ya go- actually we have voltage problems on the island. "Power Surges" are not the problem- it's voltage drops that are the problem. Also it's possible that we were running an extension cord- I honestly don't remember.

I'm just praying now that Home Depot gets more saws in. They are paring down the big tools at my location, probably because they're expensive to ship. Yesterday they had four Ridgid stationary 6 1/2" jointer/planers marked down to $149. If I didn't already have a decent jointer/planer I would have bought one. I asked about ordering a saw and they said they don't do custom orders on saws. "But, but... I'm paying shipping, and you are making money." "Sorry sir, we only sell what we get in." So now I'm waiting to see what comes in next.
