I only changed the front 3 frame stations (cambered the deck part and added 2 stringers), in the hope the final deck will be a bit more rounded. I really don't like peaked decks.

As for how long it took, hard to say as i spread it out over a too long period, work and stuff. But in all it shouldn't be more than a week's worth of work. Making the strongback alone took me a day, but it's one mother of a 13 foot strongback. It's a laminated i beam type construction with 3 (yes three) layers of 1/2 inch particle board, seperated by 3/4 inch x 1 1/2 inch pine stock. But i hope to use it for other sof's. A canoe is definitely on the agenda (calling Dave for some help here).

Skinning will be with 8 oz nylon and staples covered with a teensie weensie rub rail. I'm seriously considering finishing the skin with epifanes oil varnish.
