I will post back after Okume Fest as long as they have one to try (I hope they will have it since Nick Schade should be there again this year).

Unfortunately, I have not paddled many other similar types of kayaks so can't compare. Plus Okume Fest is on flat water, so not sure how much my impressions will be useful - this boat is supposed to be great for lumpy stuff yet still fast enough to cover some good distance.
