You might reconsider your paddling footwear. Keens are huge inside low volume kayaks.

They have just enough sole on them to keep my feet from being cut on shells or rocks, and have tested fine at low tide at Twanoh State Park in WA, site of SSTIKS, which is a notoriously rocky and oyster shell infested beach. Yet they are very low profile, great for slipping into SOF kayaks. Desperado Socks are good with a footie drysuit, because they aren't too tall. Rodeo Socks are much higher, and you'd probably want to stick to bare feet because of that.

Still, you've almost got boats stuck to the ends of each leg to stuff into your kayak... You should probably send Tom the length of your feet, and ask him what he thinks.
