: Any of you good folks install a "paddle park"? Saw one on
: the Redfish Kayak site:
: http://www.redfishkayak.com/paddlepark.htm and am including one
: on the Silver I'm building. Question is; is it placed on after
: the cloth is down, prior to filling the weave?
: Any thoughts would be appreciated. Glassing the deck this weekend .
: . . after finally completing several inlays and using a wood
: burning tool to create a vine snaking it's way up the deck. I'll
: include some pics when the glass is on, but I figured I better
: check about the paddle park first.

I bond them to the deck after the fiberglass fill coats. Its hard to sand around, I bond it on after final sanding. Just mark the location and scuff the surface.
I prefer the paddle park on the side, so that my paddle is out of the way for fishing. Also park the paddle when carring to water edge.
