In Response To: Strip: glassing inside of coaming (Bryan Ledahl)
I like to run the glass up the coaming while I am doing the inside of the deck.
I can't see any reason to try doing the inside of the deck with a single piece of glass. It can't be seen and the overlap between the pieces is not a problem. I tend to use up the triangular shaped pieces trimmed from the roll when I did the hull and the outside of the deck.
I have used both methods for the inside seam and find that I have fewer problems if I hold the glass tape in place with a dot of hot glue every 6" or so before I tape the two halves together.
