: I epoxy the hatch lip in after attaching hull and deck. I want the
: opening as large as possible to be able to get in there while
: glassing the interior seam. If you've glassed deck and hull
: sections using spreader sticks to maintain the design width,
: there shouldn't be much if any distortion of the deck when you
: join them. But, if there is, you can heat-up the glass hatch lip
: until it becomes a little flexible and then spring-clamp it into
: the opening to let it conform to the new shape.

That's a pretty good idea, never thought to heat the coaming ring.
