: builds. Before I bond the two halves together I go over the
: joint with a long sanding board. What I do is use a board that
: is longer than the kayak is wide and let it run from one side to
: the other like bridging the sides and sand it well. This puts
: the exact angle on the edge of the strip so it will mate with
: the other half. you can see as you sand when the fresh edge
: meets the outer edge of glass it is at the right bevel. By
: sanding back and forth the length direction, not the width w
: other tight strip seams.

One of your favorite parts, eh? Can't decide if you're a sadist or a masochist! BTW, how do you get epoxy out of hair? (that's singular, fwiw. Gotta protect the lil' fellar)

Well, it's glued (inside only); hope I hit most of the seam! Those curvy ends are something. Guess I'll find out when I take the compression straps off. Hatch lips glued in. STill gotta brace the lids/set up for internal bungies. Haven't put the bulkheads in yet, but this boat will be in the water by Thursday (by order of the Princess/owner). Amazing how a deadline gets the lead out.
