I weigh about the same as you do. If I was successful posting the pics you can see I put a small fixed skeg behing the cockpit. Perhaps it felt like it needed it because I'm a bit on the light side for the design. Regardless I like the boat. The skeg makes it a bit more cumbersome to turn quickly while playing in the waves, but I'm learning to time my turning efforts coincide with when the boat is on the crest and it whips right around. I also like to take several day trips so I've been generous with the rigging for those things that don't fit inside. They may not look classey, but I LOVE my rubber hatch lids. Absolutely bone dry in the compartments, which is a big plus since you can't fit much in the way of drybags inside given the smaller volume. I'm still toying with building a Mystery as a go-fast boat, but the GB Night Heron does a lot of things well.
