I like the Sea Bee 13. I am trying to keep costs down to a bare minimum to hopefully make this build a reality in the very near future. Would using canvas rather than PVC cut costs much?
It looks like Yost's site gives the basic design information (perhaps targeted at experienced boat makers) rather than a step-by-step how to. However I found a site where someone tracked their build process (http://flutterbyfoto.com/kayakDiary.html). Is it required to use the strongback to build the kayak, or can it be built off of the keel?
