Another Q for the experts: I never liked the idea of using "tape" as the cloth of choice for use in building up the sheer where hull meets deck, much prefer bias-cut strips of cloth so that all strands cross over the great divide. Seems to me that one half of the strands in "tape" or equivalent straight-cut cloth strips are completely wasted, and do nothing but add weight by requiring epoxy to set 'em. Am I the only builder so anal as to cut bias strips for use on the interior sheer line?
