Hi folks,
I'm going through my first boat build right now, and the epoxy just finished curing on the hull. I went out and cleaned the seam of the deck/hull joint by slicing through any epoxy that might've gotten through my painter's tape/wax paper with a bonsai saw, however I'm unable to remove the hull after giving it a significant tug.
Is there any suggestion on how I can go about doing this? I imagine some epoxy might've leaked through as it was and adhered it to the wood, but there's no way for me to knock out the forms since the deck is still intact (which I'm nervous to try to remove because it's unsealed/glassed). Any input would be appreciated.
At this point I'm thinking the safest way would be to take a long japanese saw and try to cut the forms in half, but I'm not sure if that would even work.
