I've been making similar ones that also using layers of minicell for my personal boats. I use the pattern from "The New Kayak Shop: More Elegant Wooden Kayaks Anyone Can Build" by Chris Kulczycki. Super simple. They don't use a lot material and are pretty darn comfortable.
