Thanks for all the info! This really helps give me some direction.
I think you hit the nail on the head. The boat doesn't seem to have that much use.
Your analysis matches what the previous owner told me. I think the boat was made fairly quickly for sale and not for personal use.
The unfilled weave and minimal varnish would fit all that I was told.
I am going to listen to you guys and take the orange stripper to it this winter.
