Hi Mike,

Depends on the age of the Explorer I think. Most newer ones are sitting on a block of foam and only held in place by the cheeks which are relatively easily cut. The older ones I think are glued down and are a little more of a pain to get out, flexible saw under the seat to cut the foam.

I've actually after several years gotten to the point that the NDK stock seat feels comfy. Certainly wasn't when I got it.
