Sounds like you'd need a roll of CF sleeve material! I think Soller gives bulk discounts. ;) The part I hate about making tubes is getting the mandrel out after the sleeve is laminated. It's not bad on short sections but lengths for a kayak? Wow. I hate just to think about it. Sleeving some solid wood (like white cedar) would work also (not as light though). Fun to play...
