Hi Dave,

At some point I'll have to build a boat like this one, I've got several old friends that are non-kayakers that would love to go out but are deathly afraid of getting their legs trapped under the deck when they roll it over (some people know that kayaks will instantly fall over because they are so narrow, no matter what you say). Having a big open cockpit gets them out on the water where they'll discover the truth for themselves :)
