Nice write up on the build and pretty boat :)

Btw, this kind of bulkhead can be fairly easily made with fiberglass cloth too. A flat table covered with window film (mylar) works great to make a "mold" for the glass. Laying it up on a smooth flat surface allows the resin to fill in the weave so it's waterproof. The mylar window film (used to insulate windows in the winter) is a natural realease for epoxy, the resin won't stick to it (has to be peeled away after the resin sets up), and it's heat shrinkable so it's easy to get it perfectly flat. The advantage to using matt is that there arn't any holes in the weave to fill like with cloth, but having it laid up on a release film fixes that problem.
