My internal strongback is just a simple 2 x 4 box built from ply, nailed and glued.

It is just being set up for its 7th stripper and was used for one SOF. The strippers varied in length from 21 feet to 15 feet and included an 18 footer and a 17 footer. It is still the same shape as when I built it, so it isn't difficult to built a cheap, durable versatile internal strongback. An external one should be even easier.
