Good idea but there will be no fires during this trip. I will be using my Dragonfly camp stove for heating water only. A fire would only attract the attention of local bears and THAT I don't want. The bears at Hudson Bay would consider smoke from a fire as a dinner bell. I am eating only dehydrated foods that can be rehydrated and resealed to keep food odors to a minimum. Anything aromatic in the slightest will attract said bear attention. I won't be taking a gun so I need to do what must be done to avoid attracting attention from smells.
