While Titebond III is good stuff for applications that require waterproof adhesive, the problem with using it on "Yost" style frames is the same as using unthickened epoxy - it can run out of the typically less-than-perfect joint before it cures, resulting in a weak bond. I've had several "by the book" epoxy-glued joints come loose in the only frame I ever glued up, so I recommend lashing (or even metal fasteners) over glue.

You can glue AND lash if the thought of a boat held together with nothing but "string" makes you nervous! ;-)
