The 2 part urethane is nice stuff, and I had some left over, but did not know how well it would work with the canvas. I'm looking forward to seeing your aluminum caoming. The quilting hoops worked okay, but end up thin, and short. They are adequiate for the kids kayaks, but would not work well for mine.
