Skin-on-Frame: Water-based poly over oil-based paint?
Sadie's kayak skin was sealed and decorated with oil-based paint, and I want to put a clear protective layer over that. Can I use water-based polyurethane, or should I stick with oil-based? The paint is dry now and very hard. I'd like it to remain clear, and I need it to dry quickly. I also have some older corey goop (two-part urethane).
