I am experimenting with paper materials using a decoupage approach to put lettering on my kayak. I used Academie brand tracing paper (that I had available) and applied it over wet epoxy and then epoxied 4 oz glass over that. I don't know how the tracing paper compares to onion paper, but as you can see, it does not disappear. Is onion skin paper more transparent? Does anyone have a specific material that they have found disappears behind epoxy, can be printed on with a laser printer and is compatible with glass/epoxy. Is there any specific brand or place where I can get onion skin paper or other recommended material.
By the way... I know I misspelled Petrel. I already printed it when I discovered that little mess up.
