Hi Paul.
Thank you for the input. He does have an existing SOF that he wants to keep as it is, so the trick is to to make exact drawings with baseline etc. for all say 14 stations. Your input is very interesting though, and I will make sure he takes is into consideration.
Luckily it is a much easier job to measure a SOF than other kayaks, because of its straight lines.
My initial inquiery was in the hope that anyone had seen the same page about measuring kayaks that I could not find myself, but now I have a pretty good idea how to deal with the problem.
