We had a great time, but what else is new? Not as many kayaks as I'd like to see by any stretch, but still some very interesting boats -- not bad for a first time, I guess. There were quite a few builders, both sailors and paddlers, that I was hoping to see but didn't make it, so maybe it was just an off year. For the majority of kayak builders, I think the location may be too far off the beaten path; but Magnolia Beach is such a sweet gem of a place that I will make no motion to rearrange anything.
