I'm trying to figure out what to do for my kayak's foot pegs (yost-style SOF). I finally got it off of the strongback last night and sat in it! I've been on the fence with what to do for foot braces/pegs. I noticed last night that the bow float bag runs right up to where my feet would go.

Does anyone see anything against using that as my foot rest?

I'm wondering about wear + tear on the clear plastic vinyl bag (pushing would cause it to rub the frame).

Thoughts? Opinions? Witty commentary?
