Aha- two good points. One I think I may be using too hard of a squeegee. Maybe that's why I'm getting bubbles. Two I forgot to mention that I always roll on a precoat and sand it before glassing. I find that prevents the starvation you mentioned and also if I missed some glue or something that shows up in the wet out it gives me a chance to fix it before it's buried under the glass.
I will play around with a softer more plyable squeegee but not on this build because it's going to be a showpiece and I want to stick with what I know best. I need to do a few tests. For instance I always wanted to try heating the resin but never had the kahunas to try it on a kayak or board. I may do some playing around with some leftover glass and resin on a piece of scrap plywood.
