One thing to keep in mind is that different resin systems work differently. A system that works great for West System may need to be modified somewhat for MAS. Differences in viscosity, cure times and other factors may effect how you end up applying your resin. Temperature and the weave of your fabric will also change how resin wets out the cloth and may lead to different methods working better.

In the end, the goal is to make the fabric wet. I have found that the task can tolerate a surprising amount of messing around without adversely effecting the final results, so a variety of different methods will work well and it will come down to what you become comfortable with as you become more experienced.
