: It's my take on Henry Rushton's "Igo" Canadian style

: 15' long x 30" wide, built with WRC stringers, bent Ash ribs
: and with Redwood trim. Weighs about 36lbs.

: The Igo is one of the more user friendly of the Canadian Canoe
: models that Rushton sold, the Ugo and Arkansaw Traveller being
: two other, similar, boats. All three were narrow, by modern
: standards, but the Igo has noticeably less deadrise than the
: others, and should be more stable.

: I developed the offsets from drawings and various photographs,
: comparing them to John Gardner's Arkansaw Traveller offsets,
: which he - vastly more skilled than I'll ever be - acquired from
: the same sources.

Does look like you may have some grain runout on a couple of stringers? Or is that just the picture?
