Yipee! 18 months after starting to build and 48 years after I last sat in a kayak, I finaly launched yesterday.
At 15ft 6" I was worried that it would not track too well but the shallow skeg keel seems to have sorted that and with just a slight lean she turns on a sixpence (dime ?) The engine is probable not what it used to be but I'll work on that.
Thanks Nick for a wonderful design and all those who gave me the initial encouragement and tips along the way.
