Awlcraft was about 285 for enough coating and reducer for one+ kayak and enough catalyst for 3+ kayaks (You know the story-babies elicit pity even at paint suppliers...), but I can spray and have a booth to borrow time in. I talked to the guy at a local body shop, and he said he actually sprayed someone's homemade carbon K1. He said the finish added a lot of weight. I'm not saying it's the better way to go. I won't finish my next glass kayak bright, that's for sure. I think there are a lot more things to consider when picking a finish.
