Ok, Ive spent about a monumental amount of time on this one problem and I need help.

To try and explain my problem...
I am not liking the look of the chine lines between sections 1 and 2 of this Sea Pup. It comes in and up alot, and just doesnt seem to follow the lines of the rest of the boat. Also I measured between the Gunwales and chine the length of the kayak, and its all averaging about 6" or just under.... all the way from the stern to section two, then at section one it seems to jump to 7". Ok, so I thought for sure I had my offsets wrong and double checked. It looks like I got it right. What am I doing wrong?
Or is the boat lines suppose to have that curve in it? The chine just doesnt seem to want to fall into place at section 2. So, I just cant see how its right.

Desperate for some advice... nervous as heck making the video, so dont laugh too hard guys! *wink
