My Long Shot is built like this one and the frame is not as stiff as I intended. So I beefed this one up some and it's not nearly as flexible as Long Shot. With the change there is a lot stiffness in the frame so I don't expect this one piece should have any impact on the boat. Also I used an easy to bend piece for deck beam and it just pushed right down in place. So there isn't much force in that beam working against me.

Anxious to see the skin on, I agree the deck line looks really sweet.
