: speed ( I forgot to label them) so you pick a speed and look up
: the chart. Where the lines cross is the resistance for that boat
: at that speed. Widest is the slowest/most resistance as you
: would expect. I am just surprised that there was less difference
: than I expected.

: If you follow the line from the left to right. You seeing the speed
: at a give resistance. And V4 if faster than than v1 at the same
: amount of resistance.

I thought it may be reversed. In the discription of the graph you said speed was on the left, resistance on bottom.
