Hi Kirk,

You didn't say and I don't remember, which ones you built (Yost boats) but one thing I've found is to get into the boat, sit in fairly shallow water and lean the boat, lifting one side with your legs keeping your body centered, and see just how far you have to lean before the boat loses secondary stability. On my boats, btw I'm 6', they have very light primary stability and amazing secondary stability. On my Sea Ranger I actually have water up onto the skirt before it loses secondary stability, the odds of rolling it unintentionally is very remote.
