I've used it plenty, with good results. Heavier than Okoume, and a not as pretty, but cheaper, stronger and more rot resistant. Comes in different colors, in my experience - from very pale sheets I got the first time, to the very dark stuff I've seen in the last few years.

I read somewhere - CLC, I believe - that they were having real problems with hydrotek. But I have never had any, and have been impressed with the quality of the stuff I've used.
