As many replies have said, it seems lots of folks are using titebond II. I have used it for gluing stuff and like it, but for paddles just a personal preference- I like good ol' epoxy. West System G5 cures in 5 minutes and holds forever. For long laminations like a laminated handle for a Stand Up Paddleboard paddle I use West 207 just because I have gallons of it on hand and it's cheaper than using G5 and doesn't kick as fast so you have more time to spread out long areas of glue and clamp it up just right before it goes off.

Nothing holds better and longer and is more waterproof than epoxy. Honestly it seems the Titebond II is good for paddles based on many comments on the net on various sites, but I can't let go of epoxy for areas where the glue may actually be exposed to water like when the finish wears off the paddle. Not saying Titebond won't work, but for me I prefer two-part glues for waterproof applications over one-part glues that cure through evaporation.
