Hey Pat,

I saw your email and thought I would put a plug in for CLC Chesapeake 16/17s. My wife and I have a pair of these and have just completed another week long excursion in them. They are rock solid full volume boats that are a little quicker to build than a strip built, but still look fantastic. Performance wise, my wife and I are easily able to cruise at 3.5 mph (roughly 3 knots) fully loaded, they track well but can be prone to weather cocking when empty. Primary and secondary stability are superb. Your wife would do well with a 16, but I'd consider a 17 for you and your son.
