: pounds. She is about to outgrow it now and paddles my first
: strip build, a Guillemot. She does love her wood kayak very much
: because dad built it just for her. This one will be saved for my
: grand kids. I have 3 daughters so I expect some to come along

Thank you to everyone for the suggestions. It looks like the Redfish Parr is it. I am partial to strippers and, with a little luck, it will last many grandchildren and great grandchildren. I am retired, no hurry to get anything done quickly, a next spring completion is fine. I like building things that I know will be here long after I am gone.
