I'm fixin' to turn fifty-one, and yes, it's plenty young. We live in a badly screwed up society today with really weird mass perceptions going on with religion, guns, yadda yadda (including a national OCD with Hollywood output, lol). The general idea that growing older is a bad thing is so totally misplaced that it'd cause me to pull my hair out if I had any left. There's a lot to be said for physical health and all that when you're young, but you're so stinkin' green, inexperienced, and STUPID .... Dan. When you get all old and wrinkled like me, which is properly called 'wizened' by English majors, and means you're getting more wise-ned up. As in, gaining all sorts of on-the-hoof intelligence and judgement and all that seriously cool stuff. Dan. Mister 35.

Yep, getting older but failing to mature. That's me in a nutshell, with emphasis on the nut part.
