Yes it was, Malcolm. I thought it was a gonner but having had other similar electronic instances, I knew immediately what I needed to do to rescue the thing before it died altogether. I have needed to take the camera in for cleaning for some time. That will probably happen some time this fall because I feel it can't be left any longer. That said, I left the camera in the hot sun will all possible doors open to dry it out...it has worked perfectly since that little disaster. I'll make sure it gets into the shop sometime during September...I don't think I can leave it for too much longer.
