In that case I think you'll get a bigger kick from building a new design rather than building another version of a boat design you've already built.

On this one make the cockpit big enough for easy entry. If the original design shows a cockpit which is about the size of what you have now, call or email the designer of a boat you are interested in and see if they have, or can create, something easier to enter.
