Nice collection! Well I agree on the AMC V8. Very heavy, and waaaay under-carbureted. I added an edelbrock intake and 4bbl carb, but it just went to heck after that so I didn't really get much time in it. The Jeep straight-six is a very good low-end torque motor.

One of the two '53 Willys I had got an engine swap to a vortec v6. Very nice combination.

Would love to see the Willys Wagon. There is only one here and last I saw it there was major rust on the rocker panels. Haven't seen it in quite some time. Would look great with a wood surfboard atop.

Next vehicle project will be a VW Woody. I bought the plans and am holding on to them until I have time and money (unlikely to have both at the same time!) I want to use it to display my wood surfboards. You just cut the roof off a VW and build the wood body around it. The plans call for plywood, but I would use hardwood- probably flamed maple for some extra bling.
