I think you probably mean playing in recreational kayaks. Check and see what the draft is. My whitewater playboat actually has a lot of draft, I'd guess around 8". My inlaws have an Old Town Loon and it seems to have very very shallow draft of only 2-3", so it would be less likely to hang up on rocks, but you might still be better off waiting off for a bit higher water level.
